After writing the bullet point plot line for ARC ATHENA, I followed up by doing three covers that I thought could give me a visual understanding for the direction for the series. I aimed for bombastic and loud and IDGAF images that really had nothing to do with the plot itself; I just wanted to ride the feeling of hype as I was writing the script.
Ultimately, the plan is to use these images as promotional pieces (and maybe an alternate cover?) once the campaign launches in early September.
I agree that all three are excellent. As stand alone images, the first one stands out the most. How the title is incorporated will probably change my opinion though. I can seen those supercede the first with that final compositional touch.
