I marveled (pun intended) when I used to see the borders on these kinds of covers was back in day when i was a kid. The idea of seeing all of Marvel's heroes in one image was exciting to look at and really fired up my imagination. Anyone else recall feeling this way after seeing those covers form that era?
I was influenced by X-Men and Avengers comics so much as a kid and drew the heads of each member around an illustration of a main character, similar to the title on this comic. I must have gotten that from the older generation comics
